This year, as is done every year, a breakfast was served at the Oasis Conference Center to celebrate a very special day, Valentine’s Day, and to introduce the 2013 Valentine Lady, Marge Henderson, and the designer of the 2013 Loveland Valentine card, Robin Moro. As part of the celebration, a quartet …

Pillows of Hope

Area resident Katie Dickert has found a calling in life. She has seen a need in children’s lives and she is part of a too small group in the world, she is doing something to meet the need she sees. “My goal is to see that each child receives a cozy, comfy, fun pillowcase to have of their own during their hospital stay at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center”, says Katie. Katie says the comfortable, cozy pillows help calm children who are facing fearful situations and she doesn’t want to …

Residents clean up!

The Loveland Initiative helps our neighbors in need. They have been doing it since 1996 and are currently focusing on their Christmas Store helping children to buy gifts for their parents. To allow them to continue to focus on the important tasks ahead of them, they have started a campaign to fund their 2012 operating expenses. Just a few latte’s a week until February would help to fund their entire year. In this time of increased need, they are hoping to be able to help more families as the recession …
