Loveland is a great place to live, but we have some cool traditions too. One of our favorite traditions is the Valentine Day Breakfast. The breakfast is put on by the Loveland Area Chamber of Commerce and is one of the few events they sponsor that it is openly encouraged for residents to attend. The Loveland Valentine Ladies spend the first two weeks in a very familiar spot, the Post Office. The ladies spend those days stamping letters and valentines with the phrase “There is nothing in this world so sweet as love”. Have you purchased your Loveland Valentine cards yet this year? The ladies will be stamping from 10-4PM Monday through Thursday!

The Loveland Area Chamber of Commerce announces the 2013 Poetry Contest (25th annual). The deadline for submission is Friday January 18th, so don’t wait too long! It’s easy to enter and there are several categories!

Don’t miss the opportunity to compete in the Loveland Area Chamber of Commerce’s 25th Annual Valentine Card Design Contest. All Tri-State area artists, photographers, students, and interested persons are encouraged to participate by designing a card which pertains to love and Valentine’s Day, then attach the cachet bearing our signature slogan, “There is nothing in this world so sweet as love”, and submit the original artwork to the Loveland Area Chamber of Commerce.

Loveland, as the Sweetheart of Ohio, has a tradition each year of selecting a wonderful lady who represents our town, not for a year, but for the rest of her life. We have had a chance to get to know some of these women over the years and we are thrilled to call them our friends. The ladies are a goodwill gift to our city.
