Saturday November 19, Congresswoman Jean Schmidt pulled together area resources and panelists to present a day long summit on “Launching and Growing a Business” and we attended. It was held in the Union Township Civic Center. The many presentations and panels that were presented gave a broad view of entrepreneurship in action. Most of the speakers started companies or are instrumental in helping people start their own business.
The talks were great because they helped the audience realize that every small business has problems, but that there are resources available …
