Graduating Seniors, could you use a $1500 scholarship to assist your financing?

This year, Loveland Initiative is giving away another $1500 Tracy Johnson scholarship. They need to receive the applications by Wednesday, April 18, 2012, at 5:00 p.m., so you need to go to their website and download the application before time runs out. The Loveland
Initiative Advisory Committee will review all applications.

The Loveland Initiative is now accepting applications for the 2012 Tracy Johnson Scholarship. Applications can be downloaded at lovelandinitiative.com and must be received by The Loveland Initiative (TLI) by 5:00pm Wednesday, April 18, 2012.
Tracy Johnson, a past resident of Westover Village, lost her battle with Muscular Dystrophy before realizing her dream to finish college. In her honor, an annual scholarship was developed to encourage others struggling to achieve their life goals.
This scholarship places emphasis on financial need, community service, and academic achievement. Past recipients have used these funds to continue …

Each year the Loveland Stage Company recognizes a deserving High School Student with its Creative Arts Scholarship.
The Loveland Stage Company is offering a scholarship again this year in the amount of $1,000. The Loveland Stage Company Creative Arts Scholarship will be awarded to a high school graduate who resides in the Loveland City School District, or attends Loveland High School, or is the offspring of a Loveland Stage Company member. This scholarship is to be used toward tuition, room and board, or books.

The Loveland Initiative is proud to announce that it will be awarding two Tracy L. Johnson Scholarships of $1,500 each. For the first time, the will be awarded to both a graduating senior and a community member residing in the Loveland City School District. Awardees will be chosen based on a combination of financial need, community service, and academic achievement.

Loveland School District is holding a family math night for parents of students in grades 1-4 on Wednesday, October 27, from 6-7:30 p.m. at Loveland Elementary School cafeteria. The session is family-oriented and also open to students and their siblings.
