We are excited to welcome a new engineering firm to downtown Loveland. Choice One Engineering has opened their office on West Loveland Avenue across from Julian’s Deli. Doing their part to reverse the trend of businesses pulling back in this recession, Vice President Matt Hoying decided expansion was the right thing for Choice One.

Young and old gathered at Whistle Stop Clay Works on July 15 at 5pm for the Grand Opening/Ribbon Cutting ceremony. Hosts Kay and Tim Bolin and Missie McCormick mingled and chatted with their guests until the ribbon was ready to be cut. At the appointed time, guests were called to gather around the big sign for the cutting and pictures (and video, of course). Partners Michelle Schooley and Jennifer Kavensky celebrated the grand opening of their new store, Superior Blendz, on December 17th. Michelle and Jennifer started their business about two years ago running a weight loss challenge out of a local Loveland church. As their community grew, their success grew and was soon too big for that location. So they moved to 807 Loveland-Madeira Rd.

The atmosphere was a mixture of holiday excitement and community come together as people gathered at Art House II to celebrate the renovation and expansion of Deirdre Dyson’s art gallery with a Ribbon Cutting ceremony. The Loveland area community gathered in Historic Downtown on November 12 to celebrate the ribbon cutting of Loveland Fitness (formerly Lohrum’s Gym). In Open House fashion, guests relaxed in an atmosphere of food, friends, and sweat, as the owners had decided to encourage the ambiance with a few members doing light workouts. Grand Sands All Season Beach Volleyball is Ohio’s only indoor sand volleyball complex and opened on Sunday, November 1.
