City of Loveland officials announced that the City has received 0% interest loans with twenty-year terms from the Ohio Public Works Commission (OPWC) for two major infrastructure replacement projects. The City also received grant funding from the Municipal Road Funds (MRF) to repave a portion of West Loveland Avenue.
The first OPWC project is a $289,000 water line replacement with up-sized mains and additional fire hydrants on Adams Avenue, Washington Avenue, Jefferson Avenue, and on Twightwee Road between Adams and Washington Avenues. Some road resurfacing is also part of the project …

Dr. John Marschhausen, who has served as Loveland Schools superintendent, has accepted a superintendent position at the Hilliard City School District. Marschhausen will remain as superintendent of the Loveland City School District until June 30, 2013.

As the afternoon rain subsided, a small group of volunteers from charities and non-profits all over southwest Ohio gathered in front of Bob Ronckers’ Running Spot to relax, have a bite to eat and then receive donations that would total $60,000 this year. That’s right, this year’s Amazing Race netted $60K for 31 charities and we were invited to watch.

Once again, Martin, Doug and Kathy showed they can put on a party event!
