Dr.Drake Tollefson and Dr. Daniel Kelley will be holding a “Give Kids A Smile” event Friday March 2nd, 2012 at both locations Loveland & Terrace Park for the third year in a row!!
The program is designed to donate free dental care to the Children who do not recieve state assistance(medicaid) or have dental insurance. Last year Dr.Tollefson and Dr.Kelley donated over $30,000 dollars to the children in need. Wee Three Kings Preschool, a ministry of Epiphany United Methodist Church, located at 6635 Loveland-Miamiville Road, is now registering for the 2012-2013 school year. We would love to have your child join our Preschool family. This year, you may access registration materials online at: www.weethreekings.org. You may also pick up forms in the Preschool office, Monday – Thursday from 9:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. Registration forms are due by February 2nd, by 3:00 p.m.

Vertical Drop Ski & Snowboard had a great event for kids Saturday, bringing in mounds of ice and an incline & rail system to allow them to learn and show off their skills. Ski’s and snowboards were the tool of the trade as kids went down the ramp, jibbin’ the rail and performing tricks and even a few aerial feats.

2011 Fall Festival in Loveland
Some of you might remember the Frog Festival. It used to be the thing to do downtown in the fall. Well, Loveland has been the benefactor of Montgomery’s loss. Heartstone Foundation has been putting on a bike tour in Montgomery for years and it seems they came to Loveland this year, hoping to resurrect the Tour de Loveland since their tour was getting a bit big for Montgomery. The weather threatened to dampen the spirits of the 15th Annual Loveland Art Show participants and visitors, but Art won out! It turned out to be a very pleasant afternoon indeed. It looked like a very nice crowd that meandered through the dozens of tents, full of intriguing and tempting works of art.

Well, it took forever for us to be able to pull this story together, but we wanted to tell the vendors and management of the Loveland Farmers Market how much fun it was! I hear there might be one this fall, so keep your ears open. We attended a good portion of the event last week and we had so much fun. We participated in the Watermelon seed spitting, but alas there were more talented lips than ours.
