City of Loveland officials announced that the City has received 0% interest loans with twenty-year terms from the Ohio Public Works Commission (OPWC) for two major infrastructure replacement projects. The City also received grant funding from the Municipal Road Funds (MRF) to repave a portion of West Loveland Avenue.

The Loveland Police Division has filed charges in Clermont County Court against three suspects involved in the shooting offense that occurred in Loveland on February 17, 2013.

The Loveland Police Division is investigating a shooting that occurred Sunday, February 17, 2013 at approximately 11:35 p.m. at the 300 block of Broadway Street. Loveland City Manager Tom Carroll will be available in the weeks ahead at the locations below to discuss and answer questions about the upcoming income tax measure on the November 6 ballot. Residents will decide whether or not to increase the City’s tax rate from 1.00% to 1.25% while keeping a full credit for taxes paid to another community.

The new school year begins on Monday, August 27 for Loveland City School students. The first day of school for Saint Columban students is Tuesday, August 21. To promote safety for both the students and parents in the school district, the Loveland Police Division will be monitoring and enforcing speed violations in all school zones as well as stop sign violations in neighborhoods near the schools.

The City of Loveland would like to announce that it will commence its 2012 road rehabilitation program starting on June 25, 2012. The 2012 road work will begin with State Route 48. Then on or after July 9, crack-sealing repairs, then milling and paving or Black mat installation on other roads. The work will be completed by August 24th,,weather-dependent. On-street parking will be temporarily restricted, but traffic will be minimally impacted by these repairs. Read the details!

The City Manager for the City of Loveland is pleased to announce that as of 3:15 PM on Friday, September 2nd, the declared Water Emergency is no longer in effect. Crews for the City have repaired the water main break and the system is now in full operation. The City Manager wishes to thank its water users for their cooperation and understanding.

The Basics
Your meter will still be read every other month. Your bill will come every month and be due on the fifteenth. If your bill is not paid by the fifteenth, you will receive a delinquent notice within a week. Your water will be disconnected if not paid the fifteenth of the following month.

The Loveland Police Division will be joining more than 950 Ohio law enforcement agencies August 19 through Labor Day 2011 during the national Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over campaign. This program targets impaired drivers and is a prevention program organized by the U.S. Department of Transportation’s National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) that focuses on combining high-visibility enforcement with heightened public awareness.
