We have an amazing activity that has occurred the past few years here in Loveland. Tim & Kay have a very unique and exciting addition to Christmas in Loveland. If you haven’t seen the Raku kiln, you need to make sure to go over and view this incredibly exciting visual experience. We don’t want to over sell it, but it is something that you and your family will enjoy and you may not get the opportunity to see it anywhere else in our area.

Saturday turned out to be a wonderful day for a festival! Loveland celebrated the 2011 Christmas in Loveland as the residents and businesses turned out in full force. There were lots of smiling faces on children and adults alike. Even though it got a little chilly after the sun went down, the bonfire raged to provide a spot to warm up. On Wednesday December 23rd, The Loveland Initiative will hold its 13th Annual Christmas Toy Store. The Christmas Toy Store helps families who cannot afford to buy toys and gifts for their children without assistance. Each year, approximately 200 children from low-income families in the Loveland area receive gifts via the Christmas Toy Store.

The Christmas Season is upon us! We all know what that brings with it, the tree, the presents, but the one thing we share with all around us is the lights of the season. There’s always that family that goes all out to share their excitement with the world, thousands of twinkling lights. Excitement is in the air for the 9th annual presentation of “The Living Nativity” to be held on Saturday, December 4th and Sunday, December 5th from 4:30 – 7:30 pm! The Living Nativity is an outside guided walking tour thru 21 stations featuring a dramatic presentation, through drama and song, of the story of Jesus’ birth. After the tour, which lasts around 30 minutes, our guests are invited to visit with the live animals, including donkeys, goats, sheep and alpacas! Hot cocoa & cookies will be served inside!
