Paddle for the Cure with Loveland Canoe & Kayak!
Mark & Robyn Bersani are doing something positive for breast cancer research, and you can help!
Originally schedule for early June, the event is finally here. This Saturday, July 24th is the big day! Canoe and kayak enthusiasts can enjoy a day of paddling along the scenic Little Miami River in a neon pink canoe or pink kayak. Not only is it a great way to enjoy a summer afternoon on the river, it’s a great way to meet new friends!
There’ll be a flat rate of $45 per canoe and $30 per kayak for anyone wishing to paddle for the cure that day. “We’ll donate $10 for every canoe and $7 for every kayak rental that day,” Bersani said. “The donation goes to Susan G. Komen for the Cure.” The price also includes a hot dog, chips and drinks for two people.
Even if you cannot make the event Saturday, you can still help! “We’re going to donate a portion from every pink canoe and kayak rental all summer long,” said Mark Bersani, co-owner with Robyn. “Just mention Paddle for the Cure” when making reservations or renting your canoe.”
Saturday looks like an awesome day to participate on the river, so call today to reserve your canoe, or just show up on Saturday to help raise money for this awesome cause! We like to see this event become an annual one, so let’s fill up those canoes & kayaks and have a great time while we beat this disease!
