With the beginning of Lent, our Catholic brothers and sisters are turning to a time of reflection and abstention of the things of the world and how they walk in it. One of the annual traditions is a Friday Fish Fry and Loveland is full of options for that feast. Keep in mind, this is not an exhaustive list, but these are the ones we’ve found so far!

Paxton’s Grill has a delicious fried fish meal that has a lot os fish and accompanying fries. We enjoyed the dinner portion for just $10.99.

St Margaret of York will be having their traditional fish fry offering every Friday through March 30 and they bring the real deal. Enjoy baked salmon, shrimp, cod (hand dipped or breaded), pizza and other food for the kids. The meals are served in the Cafeteria and they offer Senior specials from 5:30-6:00 while the meals run until 7:30. You can even call ahead for same day pickup 683-7100 x201.

St Columban’s has themed their fish fry this year as “Save your sole, We’ve got Cod!”. Their “soul” food will be served every Friday through March 30, from 5-8. The food is served in the cafeteria or they have set up a drive through line for those on the go. Their menu includes grilled salmon, shrimp or fish dinners; fish sandwiches, cheese pizza, gourmet salad, sweet potato fries and an assortment of other side dishes.

Tano’s Bistro will be serving both a fish dish and its delicious Cioppino throughout the Lenten season.

No matter where you turn, if you like seafood, you’ll have lots of delicious choices all through March! Take some time and investigate your local choices. Let us know how your journey turns out!
