Cafe 45140 holds Grand Opening
We have a new eatery in Historic Downtown Loveland. Well, we have a newly expanded Cafe, now down the street from last year’s location, renamed as Cafe 45140! Chef’s Tami & Joe will bring a new focus as they are set to bring their combined talents and culinary excitement to the bike trail. Their food is fresh, locally grown and created to highlight their farm-to-table philosophy.
They are continuing many of their favorites from last year’s menu, but will change the menu quite often to give opportunity to a diversity of style and flavors. They will be open Wednesday through Saturday starting at 8am and will serve breakfast all day. They will be gathering foods from the Loveland Farmers Market on Tuesdays and will return to the restaurant to prepare a special 3 course meal that is built from the ingredients they found at the market. We are excited to see what they come up with! Of course, Sunday is for brunch, where from 10AM to 3PM, they will offer delicious and diverse meals. Some of their highlights so far are a Corned Beef Eggs Benedict, a Greek Veggie Omelet and a house favorite, Huevos Rancheros.
The Grand Opening started with a ribbon cutting at 3PM attended by friends, family and a few city officials. After a private party for supporters, the Cafe opened up to the public, serving Shrimp & Grits, Mac & Cheese and Pork Belly Sliders bon ami. Mark & Chris Leach provided music for the night and patrons enjoyed great food and music the entire night.
The next exciting thing for Cafe 45140 will be their outdoor wood fired oven, where they plan to add flat breads to their dinner menu. This will be an exciting new offering to downtown fare and we wish Joe & Tami great success as they work to bring their vision to fruition! We think this restaurant will enhance the downtown Loveland area as a wonderful dining destination for the entire Cincinnati area.
