Loveland, as the Sweetheart of Ohio, has a tradition each year of selecting a wonderful lady who represents our town, not for a year, but for the rest of her life. We have had a chance to get to know some of these women over the years and we are thrilled to call them our friends. The ladies are a goodwill gift to our city. Most have volunteered throughout their lives to try to make Loveland a hospitable and enjoyable place to live and work. They spend time at the …

Looking for something exciting to do? You can find it in Loveland! Bike, walk, or canoe? Perhaps the sounds of a Sunday concert in the park are for you.
Were you aware we have a by-the-slice pizzaria in Loveland? We found out last week that we have a new place to eat in the Loveland Crossing plaza. Rosario’s brings New York pizza to Loveland. They are serving it up in 3 sizes and by-the-slice along with a good variety of calzones, subs, salads and even desserts. They are located at 10484 Loveland Madeira Road. They are open Monday-Thursday 11-9, Friday & Saturday 11-10 and Sunday 12-8.
Why don’t you stop by and try one of his pizza’s or perhaps a delicious calzone and let him know you heard about him here. If you like it as much as we did, spread the word and let your friends know there’s a litle bit of New York in Loveland!

Loveland’s fine dining is two years old next week! Tano would like to invite us to celebrate with him, offering incredible meals and delicious wines for just $11 to make his 2nd anniversary special! Check out the details below and we’ll see you on the 11th!

Tano will be sharing a portion of the night’s proceeds with The Loveland Food Pantry and will be giving away prizes. In fact, I’m not sure which I’d rather win, money to eat at Tano’s or a chance to take a class with Tano himself! Either way, I’m sure it would be a truly grand prize!
In the spirit of service, congregation and community, The Loveland Initiative invites you to the 14th Annual Martin Luther King Jr. Celebration, Sunday, January 15th from 6-9pm at the Prince of Peace Lutheran Church Parish Life Center on S. Lebanon Road.
Each year, TLI hosts this pot-luck dinner with speakers and musical expression exhorting Rev. Dr. King’s words of inspiration “Faith is taking the first step, even when you don’t see the whole staircase.” This year guests will hear from the Reverends McCraney, Eilert and Melton from, respectively New Friendship Baptist Church, Prince of Peace Lutheran Church and Loveland Presbyterian Church. In addition, the Angels of Faith Youth Dancers, Soldiers for Christ Step Team, the Mass Choir of New Friendship Baptist Church, First Missionary Baptist Church Choir, the Oxford Gourd and Drum Ensemble and Cincinnati Drum and Tribal Dance will perform.
“We would like to welcome everyone to join our volunteers and clients for this positive and powerful event,” said Ms. Terri Rogers, TLI’s long-time Executive Director, “this is a COMMUNITY celebration and it is free and open to the public—so bring a dish to share as you join your neighbors in celebrating the birthday of one of America’s most important spiritual and inspirational leaders.”

Our little town of Loveland Ohio celebrated the end of 2011 and the start of 2012 this past weekend. Like other cities and towns, we celebrate in groups large and small. While many simply open a bottle of bubbly and watch the ball drop on television with family, others still get out on the town to celebrate with old friends and to make new ones. In Loveland, we celebrate many different ways! From traditional formal parties, to fine dining, to spending the night with friends with similar interests, to partying …

The Loveland Mayor’s Court is announcing an amnesty program beginning December 19, 2011 through January 13, 2012. Anyone that owes money on delinquent cases can contact the court to pay their fines and costs. During the amnesty period the court may recall any warrants, waive warrant fees, and dismiss any new charges on delinquent cases so that the defendant does not have to reappear in court. The Mayor’s Court clerk can be reached at 513-774-3030.
After January 13, 2012 the court will begin transferring all delinquent cases to Capital Recovery Systems Incorporated. Capital Recovery Systems is a debt collection agency based in Columbus, Ohio and works exclusively with government clients.
